Biography

Dr. Keith MacDougall obtained his BSc with honors in 1997 from the University of Calgary and completed his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 2002, followed by neurosurgical training at Western University, finishing in 2008. He has since established a clinical practice focused on Functional Neurosurgery, particularly in the areas of Chronic Pain Surgery, Epilepsy Surgery, and Movement Disorder Surgery. His ongoing research interests extend to the effectiveness of neuromodulation treatments for chronic neuropathic pain and headaches, employing novel stimulation techniques. In addition to his clinical and educational commitments, Dr. MacDougall is a Past President of the Canadian Neuromodulation Society, reflecting his leadership and impact in the neurosurgical community.
