Dr. Kelley Lee

Biography

Kelley Lee has a strong academic background specializing in Global Health Governance and International Relations. With a diverse educational journey that includes a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and a D.Phil from the University of Sussex, she has dedicated over two decades to research at prestigious institutions, including the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Lee is recognized for her significant contributions to global health policy through founding and leading various initiatives. As a co-director of the Pandemics Borders Project, she focuses on the intersection of public health and international travel measures. Her work has attracted funding from leading health research bodies, and she has authored over 140 peer-reviewed papers, alongside notable books in the field of Global Health. Since joining Simon Fraser University in 2011, she has also served as an Associate Dean and directed research initiatives on global health governance. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Kelley Lee has been honored as a Fellow in multiple distinguished associations in public health and sciences, reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge and practice in global health governance.
