Kelli S. Scott is a clinical psychologist and implementation scientist focused on enhancing the implementation of evidence-based mental health and substance use interventions in community settings. She is currently affiliated as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences within the Brown University School of Public Health and in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior within the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Scott received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University in 2018 and completed her residency training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University's Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. Her research program employs frameworks and methods from implementation science to enhance training and workforce development aimed at scaling evidence-based practices in community treatment settings. Dr. Scott is particularly interested in using measurement-based care to enhance behavioral health and substance use treatment, as well as methods to enhance workshop training that promotes the uptake of new practices. She is currently the Principal Investigator of a 5-year career development grant focused on evaluating the effectiveness of implementation measurement-based care in community opioid treatment programs. Additionally, Dr. Scott serves as a faculty consultant for the Implementation Science Core in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior within the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and as the Evaluation Director for the SAMHSA-funded New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center.
