Biography

Kelly Bridges is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Distance Education in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University. Engaged internationally, Dr. Bridges serves on the Department's Global Committee and on Steinhardt’s Dean's Global Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders and actively mentors early career professionals from various countries. Through the Communicative Sciences and Disorders Program, she aims to deliver rigorous training for students aspiring to excel in speech-language pathology. Her course on The Talking Brain introduces students to critical processes in speech, language, and hearing, examining factors such as brain injury, hearing loss, autism, and stuttering.
