Dr. Kelly Chan

Biography

Kelly Chan is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore's Department of Psychology. She is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in trauma and attachment. With extensive experience in early intervention, Kelly has worked with children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds in Singapore and London. Her background includes working in a specialist service for children in foster care in London and being part of the REACH Community Mental Health Team in Singapore, where she collaborates closely with schools to provide assessments and support for students facing mental health challenges. Kelly's research primarily focuses on adults dealing with emotional difficulties that arise from childhood and intergenerational traumas. She is a published author in peer-reviewed journals and has conducted studies on corporal punishment in Singapore in collaboration with the Singapore Children’s Society. Currently, Kelly works at Holmusk, a global leader in real-world evidence, where she applies her clinical expertise in data analytics and the development of machine learning models in behavioral health. She strongly believes in the use of real-world evidence to inform psychiatric treatment efficacy and identify unmet clinical needs.
