Biography

Kelly Hughes is a dually qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurse and Registered Nurse, having completed her Bachelor of Science in Mental Health at Brandon University in 2001 and her Master of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. Throughout her nursing career, she has dedicated herself to providing care for vulnerable populations in a variety of roles, including acute care, community mental health, addictions, correctional settings, and inner-city health clinics. Nursing education has been an important aspect of her work, as she teaches in the Psychiatric Nursing Program at Brandon University and the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Saskatchewan.
