Biography

I am an Assistant Professor in French Studies and serve as the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Chair at the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (SMLC) at the University of Warwick. I am deeply committed to inclusive education and work to design and deliver modules on French language and culture, while also mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, I collaborate with various departments to foster a diverse and supportive learning environment. I lead the delivery of the bespoke Thrive program in conjunction with colleagues and am involved in administrative roles at the university, including serving on the Faculty of Arts Equality and Inclusion Forum and the SMLC Education Committee. My teaching experience includes leading the FR202 Modern French Language course and coordinating the Fr101 French Language module. I have also been involved in projects aimed at outreach and widening participation initiatives, such as the ShareAmi program which connects language students with senior citizens in France. I regularly present at national conferences on topics such as decolonising the curriculum and inclusive language pedagogy.
