Kelly Miles completed her BSc (Honours) at Dalhousie University, an MSc at Memorial University, and a PhD at the University of New Brunswick. She worked for several years in the Faculty of Medicine at Dalhousie University, specializing in the Department of Anatomy, where she served as an anatomical embalmer and instructed courses related to medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. Since joining the University of New Brunswick in 2012, she has been teaching human anatomy courses and recently introduced popular forensic biology classes to the Department of Biology.
