Biography

Kelly Penz is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research focuses on the psychosocial wellbeing of nurses practicing in rural and remote environments, with specific attention to palliative and end-of-life care. Dr. Penz explores themes such as job demands, workplace violence, and the impacts of distressing events on healthcare professionals. She is involved in the development and evaluation of psychometric instruments that assess job-related stressors in nursing practice.
