Kelly C. Weiley founded CoAct Consulting 12 years ago to continue the work of cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion in traditional classroom settings. Kelly holds a Master of Science degree in Social Responsibility from St. Cloud State University and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Relations and Multicultural Education. Currently, Kelly serves as a lecturer at Northwestern University School of Education and Social Policy and has previously taught at the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas. Drawing from classroom experiences, root trainings, and research theory, Kelly applies principles to individuals, urging the practice of skills that improve connection, foster growth, and nurture effective leaders. Previously, Kelly facilitated award-winning residential service-learning experiences for high school students and staff through the Civic Education Project (CEP), partnering with six Boston public schools to connect struggling young people with employment opportunities via the Year 13 program. With over 18 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, Kelly has trained 25,000 people on topics ranging from creating social change to navigating difficult conversations and facilitating controversial issues.
