Biography

Kellys Sikabbwele has extensive hands-on industrial experience in operations and manufacturing before joining academia. With eight years of teaching experience, he has taught multicultural students in higher education in the UK and overseas. His research interests focus on exploring the paradoxical tensions and enablers of sustainable supply chain management. Previously, he worked on consultancy projects aimed at helping companies improve their sustainability practices. He is also a reviewer for the European Operations Management Association Conferences and has published and presented at several conferences including BAM and EurOMA. Kellys holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies with a focus on 'sustainable operations and supply chain management' from the University of Liverpool, awarded in 2021, and an MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management from the same university. He teaches courses on Project Management and Supply Chain Technologies and is currently the Unit Director for Undergraduate Operations Management and the Deputy Programme Director for BSc Business Analytics.
