Kelsey Borner, PhD, completed her undergraduate education at Bowdoin College and received her PhD in clinical child psychology from the University of Kansas Clinical Child Psychology Program. She completed her clinical internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in behavioral pain psychology at Children’s National Hospital. Before joining Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Dr. Borner worked as a psychologist at Children’s National Hospital in the Department of Anesthesiology. Currently, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and as a clinical psychologist in the Hasbro Children’s Partial Hospital Program (HCPHP), where she focuses on working with children and adolescents presenting with combined medical and psychiatric illnesses. Her research interests include working with youth experiencing chronic pain, physical symptoms, functional neurological symptom disorder, and eating disorders.
