Kemal Celik is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and a Global Network Assistant Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi. His work encompasses multi-scale interdisciplinary research geared towards characterizing and developing energy-efficient construction materials, including low carbon cements and alkali-activated cementitious materials, as well as optimizing building envelopes for improved energy performance. His significant achievements include several awards recognizing his contributions to civil engineering and materials performance.
