Dr. Ken Cramer

Biography

Ken Cramer is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor. He has been employed at the university since 1998 and is known for his expertise in Applied Social Psychology. He holds a Master's degree and a PhD in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Cramer's research interests encompass metacognition, learning, and the various skills-training modules that aid students in topics including time management and test-taking. Additionally, he focuses on health-related areas, personality, social psychology, sex and gender issues, person perception, attributions, and community health. His clinical interests extend to examining post-traumatic growth and emergency personnel counseling, along with help-seeking behaviors among university and college students. Dr. Cramer has transitioned from teaching first-year students for 16 years to instructing upper-level undergraduate classes that cover personality, social psychology, and statistics tests/measurement. He actively supervises independent undergraduate projects and honors theses, as well as Master’s and doctoral-level theses.
