Biography

Dr. Kenan Niu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Twente, specializing in Robotics and Mechatronics within the Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS) department. Dr. Niu's overarching research interests encompass robotic imaging and smart sensing, robotic orthopedic surgery, medical image processing, ultrasound imaging, and computer vision. He aims to empower human intelligence through robotic systems and has expertise in engineering deep learning methods in robotics and medical applications.
