Professor Ken Baldwin is the inaugural Director of the ANU Energy Change Institute and has served as the founding Director of the ANU Grand Challenge: Zero-Carbon Energy Asia-Pacific. He graduated from ANU with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in 1977 and a Master of Science in 1979, followed by a PhD from Imperial College, London in 1983. His current work focuses on driving the energy transition, particularly in relation to Australia’s future renewable energy export industries. He is a Fellow of multiple esteemed organizations and has received several awards, including the W.H. Beattie Steel Medal and the Barry Inglis Medal for excellence in precision measurement.
