Biography

I am a PhD fellow in Greenlandic and Arctic Studies, where I also graduated. I am a historical linguist and am developing an etymological dictionary of the Greenlandic language, which will illustrate the morphological connections of the Greenlandic vocabulary and trace them back to Uralic and Eskimo-Aleut. My dissertation will document the creation of this dictionary and posit a coherent system of sound changes across the various language stages from Eskimo-Aleut to modern Greenlandic.
