Biography

Kenzie Burchell is a media sociologist and journalism studies scholar, holding a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a PhD from Goldsmiths, University of London. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, Burchell was a Research Associate in European Media Studies at the University of Manchester. With experience at the BBC World Service, the BBC Russian Service, and the UK Government's Cabinet Office, Burchell has also worked with international press freedom organizations like Reporters Sans Frontières in Moscow.
