Biography

Kerry Hourigan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Monash University, where he is also the Director of the Laboratory for Biomedical Engineering and Co-Director of the Fluids Laboratory for Aeronautical Industrial Research. He has an extensive industrial background in experimental and computational fluid dynamics, having served as a Research Associate at the National Research Council/NASA and held visiting professorships at institutions such as the California Institute of Technology and the Technical University of Denmark. He has authored many publications and has been recognized as a Fellow of Engineers Australia.
