Biography

Dr. Baker received his medical degree from Queen's University in 1984. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa and finished a fellowship in Urogynecology at the University of Toronto in 1990. He is an active staff member at the Ottawa Hospital, where he sees patients at the Urogynecology Clinic in the Shirley E Greenberg Women's Health Center at the Riverside Campus, and he maintains an Obstetrics and Gynecology practice at Sound Care Medical on Hunt Club Road. He is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the International Continence Society, and the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His areas of interest focus on the diagnosis and treatment of genital prolapse and urinary incontinence, and he is fluently bilingual in English and French.
