Biography

Kevin’s research focuses on the use of satellite remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to improve the understanding of geographical issues. His current research includes satellite-based land use mapping and geospatial data collection aimed at enhancing livelihoods and natural resource management in the Pacific Islands. He is involved in investigating the use of CubeSats for landscape monitoring as part of the University’s Centre for CubeSats and UAV Applications. Kevin's research aligns with the Faculty of Science’s strengths in understanding the planet, climate change, environmental change, sustainability, and healthy ecosystems.
