Biography

Kevin is a Lecturer in Widening Participation at King’s College London. With a robust clinical background specializing in respiratory care within acute public healthcare settings in the UK and internationally, he brings rich experience to his academic role. Holding an MA (summa cum laude) and a BSc (magna cum laude) in Nursing, Kevin is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He is actively engaged in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare education and serves as a trained Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA), working nationally and internationally to lead recruitment for NHS England. As a Cultural Ambassador, he champions an inclusive culture for the international nursing workforce within the NHS. Kevin's contributions to the field have been recognized with the 2021 Making-a-Difference Award from the Royal College of Nursing. Prior to joining King’s, he was a Senior Lecturer and International Lead for Nursing at the University of Worcester, where his innovative support for international students earned him recognition as a finalist for the University Educator of the Year at the Students Nursing Awards 2024.
