Kevin Lawrence Henry, Jr. is an award-winning scholar focusing on race, racism, and education policy practice. He holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His interdisciplinary scholarship investigates the politics of education, particularly the privatization of education and market-based approaches. His work has been published in prominent journals and he has co-authored and co-edited several influential academic works. Additionally, he serves on the editorial boards of multiple educational journals and is a co-editor for Routledge’s Educational Leadership Equity Diversity book series. Prior to his current role, he was a faculty member at the University of Arizona in the College of Education and contributed significantly to the Education Policy Center.
