Biography

Kevin Kells received his PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, and holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa. He has a strong focus on entrepreneurship and business analytics at the Telfer School of Management. Additionally, he has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Kevin has experience working as an R&D Engineer in software systems within the Financial and Semiconductor industries across Switzerland, Silicon Valley, and Ottawa. Currently, he is engaged with a major market news data company in New York City, specializing in real-time data and news feed systems. He has extensive experience in non-profit management and has a keen interest in human systems. Kevin's research interests focus on approaches to large-scale, complex human challenges and the confluence of Government, Industry, Academia, and Non-Profit sectors, with the aim to enhance the use of data analytics for the greater good in government and non-profit organizations.
