Dr. Kevin Weaver

Biography

Kevin Weaver is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at New York University. He graduated from New York University's physical therapy program in 1990 and received his Master's degree in Ergonomics and Biomechanics from New York University in 1995. He obtained his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2005. Kevin is a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy and is also recognized as a Certified Ergonomist (CEA) by the Oxford Institute. His academic responsibilities focus on instruction in musculoskeletal, business, biomechanics, and ergonomics. His professional interests include orthopedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, and manual techniques in ergonomics. The NYU Steinhardt's physical therapy program educates aspiring physical therapists who are licensed professionals seeking to specialize and advance their careers.
