Biography

Khamidulla Bakhadirov is an Assistant Professor at Boston University in the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Neurology. He graduated from Tashkent State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan in 2003 and soon after relocated to Texas to pursue graduate studies in neuroimaging. He later completed his residency in Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He has also finished a Fellowship in Vascular Neurology with a special focus on Neurological Critical Care. Since completing his medical education in 2014, Dr. Bakhadirov has served as a neurologist at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, working as a neurohospitalist and stroke neurologist, managing patients with acute neurological diseases. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director for the Emergency Inpatient Stroke neurology department, working on improving the standards of neurological care for hospitalized patients and actively educating medical staff. He has received multiple teaching awards during his tenure at hospitals and is involved in mentoring initiatives.
