Biography

Khrystine Waked is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo's School of Pharmacy. She completed her PharmD in 2018 at the same institution and furthered her clinical training by finishing the Ambulatory Care Residency Program in September 2019. Currently, she works full-time as a family health team pharmacist in Kitchener, Ontario, while also being actively involved in community practice through her part-time work at an independent community pharmacy in Breslau, Ontario. Since 2019, Waked has been engaged with the School of Pharmacy as a teaching assistant for several courses, most notably PHARM 467: Management of Oral Anticoagulation Therapy. She has also served as a sessional instructor for courses including PHARM 155: Drug Information Fundamentals and PHARM 127: Professional Communication Skills. Waked is a licensed pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and is a member of the Ontario Pharmacy Association and the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario.
