Biography

Kien Pham obtained a B.S. degree in Molecular Cellular Biology and an M.S. degree in Applied Biosciences from the University of Arizona, and a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Florida. Following his doctoral studies focused on brain cancer, he completed postdoctoral training under Prof. Chen Liu at Yale University. In 2020, Pham joined the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine as a Research Scientist. He previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Pham's research interests include cancer metastasis resistance, precision cancer medicine, drug discovery, and disease modeling in basic and translational research. He has been recognized for his contributions to government and industry-funded research projects and has received multiple awards for outstanding performance. Pham has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
