Dr. Kim Johnson

Biography

Kim G Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University. She also serves as the Division Chief for Memory Disorders in the Department of Neurology. With a strong educational background in Geriatric Psychiatry, Kim completed her fellowship at Yale University and her residency at Duke University. Her areas of expertise include memory disorders, Alzheimer's disease, and related disorders. Kim is involved in various research projects aimed at understanding the efficacy and safety of treatments for Alzheimer's disease. This includes involvement with multiple grants from prestigious organizations such as the National Institute on Aging and the American College of Radiology. She has also contributed to early clinical trials evaluating new therapies for Alzheimer's and participates actively in professional activities, including chairing sessions and delivering presentations at significant annual meetings. Beyond clinical work, she is committed to mentorship and education within the field of geriatric psychiatry.
