Dr. Kim Madden

Biography

Kim Madden is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at McMaster University. She is also a research associate for the National Pain Centre and a Deputy Editor for the Evidence-Based Orthopaedics Journal, as well as Clinical Orthopaedics Related Research. Her research primarily focuses on health-related issues, particularly gender-based violence, musculoskeletal health, and human movement. Dr. Madden holds affiliations with the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging and the Institute for Pain Research and Care. Throughout her academic career, she has contributed significantly to various fields, especially in health sciences and orthopaedics. She has also been recognized for her work with the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis Research. Madden's educational background includes a PhD from McMaster University and both an MSc and BSc from the University of Waterloo.
