Sawchuk co-directs the Ageing, Communication, Technologies (ACT) project, which explores how new media shapes experiences of aging, funded by a SSHRC Partnership Grant. She is also a co-founder of the Critical Disability Studies Working Group at Concordia, fostering connections between media-making and disability rights in Montreal.
