Biography

Kimball Ketsa joined the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria in 2005 as a sessional instructor in accounting and finance and has served as an assistant teaching professor since June 2018. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CMA) with 26 years of diverse accounting experience across private industry, public practice (Deloitte), and various levels of government and non-profit organizations. His international experience includes serving as the chief financial officer for an American music label company. With 25 years of teaching experience, Kimball has instructing various courses in financial accounting, finance, financial management, and managerial accounting at both the college and university levels, including the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Camosun College. His expertise lies in bridging practical experience with academic knowledge, motivating students to engage in learning outcomes, and finding the transition of knowledge dynamic and rewarding.
