Biography

Kimberly Beckwith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin. Beckwith teaches courses related to sport history and strength conditioning and has a diverse publication record that includes important works such as 'Weight Training' (2nd ed., Kendall Hunt) and various articles in 'Iron Game History.' She has also contributed to the understanding of high-intensity resistance training effects and the legacies of notable figures in the physical culture movement.
