Dr. Kimberly Schreck

Biography

Kimberly Anne Schreck is a Professor at Penn State Harrisburg with over 30 years of experience in the field of Psychology, particularly focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She played a crucial role in establishing the Master’s Applied Behavior Analysis program at Penn State Harrisburg and has directed the program for the majority of its existence. Dr. Schreck earned her Ph.D. in Psychology, specializing in Intellectual Developmental Disabilities from Ohio State University, where she also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Columbus Children’s Hospital. Her research interests encompass ethical practices, evidence-based treatments, autism-related challenges—particularly sleep issues—and interventions for skill acquisition and behavioral concerns in children. She has served as a regular reviewer for scientific manuscripts and sits on various journal editorial boards. Dr. Schreck is involved in several professional service roles, including serving as Associate Editor for Behavioral Interventions and being a member of the Penn ABA Executive Council. She is recognized as a senior research mentor to numerous professionals in the field.
