Biography

Kimberly Truong is an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education with over 20 years of experience as an equity strategist and leader in education. She is the founder and principal of XEM Consulting Services, LLC. Truong is a nationally recognized leader in the equity education space, focusing on conducting research regarding equity issues in higher education, university student experiences, and higher education policy. Her written works have been published in prominent journals such as the Harvard Educational Review, Higher Ed, Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Insight Diversity, and the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education. She earned her Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania, her Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her B.A. from Brandeis University.
