Biography

Dr. Kimberly Won is a critical care emergency medicine pharmacy specialist, focusing her clinical and research interests on the care of critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency department settings. Her research encompasses topics such as drug monitoring, management of cardiac arrest, toxicity concerns, pharmacokinetic changes, the use of vasoactive medications, anticoagulation strategies, sedation and delirium management, acute kidney injury, and hyperglycemic crises, among others. She has completed extensive training, having earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Pharm.D. from the University of Colorado. She has also pursued advanced residency training in acute care and critical care/emergency medicine. Dr. Won's contributions have been recognized through various awards, showcasing her commitment to excellence in pharmacy education and practice.
