Kirill Nourzhanov holds a Master's degree from Moscow State University and a PhD from the Australian National University. His main research specialization is in Central Asian politics and international relations, with interests encompassing Islamic radicalism, Eurasian geopolitics, and the history of the USSR. Kirill has worked as an academic consultant on World Bank-funded projects in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
