Biography

Kirsten Rohde is a professor of Behavioral Economics at Erasmus School of Economics and also holds a position as a professor of Microeconomics at Maastricht University. Her primary research interests include time, social, and risk preferences, employing a combination of decision-theoretical and empirical approaches. Her work elucidates how these preferences are related to health behaviors. She is a fellow of the Tinbergen Institute and a member of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM). Kirsten has previously served as the Vice Dean of Research at the Erasmus School of Economics and as the Associate Director of ERIM. Additionally, she has led the Organization, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship group and was the deputy director of the Department of Applied Economics at ESE. Currently, she also serves as an associate editor for Management Science.
