Dr. Kirstine Børsting

Biography

Kirstine Friis Børsting holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and possesses solid qualitative and quantitative research skills. With a strong background in healthcare, she focuses on the Danish healthcare system from an organizational perspective. Her research interests include implementation science, integrated care, and interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly concerning the management of multimorbidity and low back pain. Børsting has experience working for the Ministry of Health, providing her with deep insights into the dynamics of the healthcare system. She is currently engaged in projects that aim to improve healthcare delivery for individuals with complex health challenges and has a vested interest in the motivation of healthcare professionals. Her prior work includes assisting in research on mental health, and she has contributed to various scholarly outputs pertaining to patient-centered healthcare solutions and effective collaboration across sectors.
