Klaas P. Prüssmann has been a full Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at ETH Zurich since August 2008. His work focuses on developing applications for imaging techniques based on magnetic resonance, covering a broad range of topics from the physical foundations of imaging principles to scanner technology and applications in medicine and natural sciences. Prüssmann has received several awards including the Günther Laukien Award, the Gold Medal from ISMRM, the Philips Innovation Award, and the European Magnetic Resonance Award. He is an honorary member of the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology.
