Dr. Klaus Abels

Biography

Klaus Abels is a professor of Linguistics at University College London. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2003 and has held academic positions at the University of Leipzig in Germany and the University of Tromsø in Norway. He moved to University College London in 2007. His research primarily focuses on universal properties of syntax, with particular attention to word order, displacement, scope, and ellipsis. He is also a co-editor of 'Syntax: A Journal of Theoretical, Experimental, and Interdisciplinary Research.'
