Biography

Professor Klaus Drechsler holds a chair in Carbon Composites at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and serves as the director of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Casting and Composite Processing Technology in Augsburg. Professor Drechsler has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications and has received several awards, including admission to the National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech) in 2018 and the AVK award over multiple years.
