Biography

Klaus W. Hempfer is a renowned professor in the Department of Romance Philology at the Free University of Berlin. Born in 1942, he has had a distinguished academic career. He completed his studies in English and Romance Studies at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and furthered his education at University College of Swansea in the UK. By 1970, he attained his doctorate, followed by habilitation in Romance Philology in 1974.
