Biography

Klein E. Ileleji is a Professor and Extension Engineer in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University, Indiana, USA. His research focuses on grain and crop post-harvest technology, powder technology, and biomass feedstock systems engineering. He teaches courses such as Biomass Feedstock Systems Engineering and Electric Power Controls at Purdue. Dr. Ileleji has extensive experience in renewable energy and grain post-harvest extension efforts, and has conducted significant research on storage handling of distillers grains. He is a 27-year member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and has been involved with the Grain Elevators Processing Society (GEAPS) for 14 years. With international experience across Africa, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and China, Dr. Ileleji is also the co-founder, CEO, and CTO of JUA Technologies International, a start-up company developing solar dehydration technologies aimed at mobile off-grid power solutions for small to mid-size farms and businesses.
