Dr. Konrad Kording

Biography

Konrad Kording is the Nathan Mossell University Professor in the Department of Bioengineering and Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a CIFAR Fellow. His research combines neuroscience and machine learning to understand and predict sensorimotor behavior. Kording's work has significantly contributed to the development of computational models that elucidate the underlying mechanisms of neural processing and decision-making. He explores the intricacies of Bayesian decision theory and its applications to sensory integration and motor control. With over 200 articles published, Kording has addressed various aspects of learning algorithms and their implications in real-world scenarios, including mobile health monitoring and artificial intelligence systems.
