Professor Dr. Konrad Swanepoel

Biography

Konrad Swanepoel completed his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Pretoria in 1997. He has held academic positions at the University of Pretoria and the University of South Africa and spent several years in Germany at Chemnitz University of Technology before joining the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2009. His research interests encompass discrete and combinatorial convex geometry, as well as geometric networks. He possesses expertise in combinatorial discrete geometry, convex geometry, geometry of normed spaces, and shortest geometric networks. With a strong background in mathematics, Professor Swanepoel continues to contribute significantly to these fields through his teaching and research.
