Biography

Konstantine Zakzanis holds an Honours B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from York University and is a tenured full Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough. His research focuses on clinical neuropsychology, diagnostic science, and the psychological assessment of various clinical disorders such as traumatic brain injury, schizophrenia, depression, and dementia. Zakzanis is actively involved in research methodologies including brain imaging and meta-analysis, contributing to peer-reviewed publications in the fields of psychology and neuropsychology. He has been recognized for his contributions with numerous invitations to speak at national and international meetings, and he has received funding from federal and provincial research agencies. He was awarded the Premier’s Research Excellence Award and holds the Research Award from the American Psychological Association in Clinical Neuropsychology. As a committed academic supervisor, he has guided many undergraduate and graduate students in their studies. Additionally, Zakzanis is a current Editorial Board Member of Personal Injury Law and has served as an Associate Editor for the APA publication Neuropsychology. He is also a Consulting Editor for the Clinical Neuropsychologist Journal and has served as an editorial referee for multiple research journals in related fields. Licensed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario, he practices both Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in Ontario.
