Professor Konstantinos Gerasimidis is a leading expert in Clinical Nutrition, having graduated in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed postgraduate studies in the same field. His primary research interests lie in disease-associated malnutrition, exploring its link to clinical outcomes across various demographics, especially in children and adults with acute and chronic diseases. He has pioneered tools for malnutrition screening and led multiple research projects funded by both governmental and charitable organizations, achieving over £14M in research funding. Currently, he oversees a team of postdoctoral researchers and PhD students, conducting groundbreaking work in nutrition and gastroenterology.
