Kostas Athanasakis is a Visiting Fellow at LSE Health and an Assistant Professor in Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment at the University of West Attica in Greece. Additionally, Kostas has acted as an advisor and consultant for numerous international organizations, including the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the World Bank, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In coordination with the LSE Health team, he also oversees the Country Report for the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience (PHSSR) in Greece, where he is a member of the PHSSR EU Advisory Group. In 2021, he became Associate Editor of the International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care (IJTAHC) published by Cambridge University Press.
