Dr. Krasimira Rozenova

Biography

Krasimira Rozenova is an Assistant Professor in Anatomic Pathology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in hematopathology and molecular diagnostic pathology. She earned her PhD from the University of Kentucky, focusing on cell signaling and inflammation, and obtained her medical degree from St. George's University. Dr. Rozenova completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Mayo Clinic and later underwent fellowship training in hematopathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by molecular genetic pathology at Yale. Her primary research interests are centered on lymphoma and the application of short tandem repeat (STR) testing in pathology for diagnostic quality assurance. She has presented her work at national and international meetings and has co-authored multiple manuscripts in her field. Dr. Rozenova is actively involved in clinical responsibilities as well as in teaching and mentorship, contributing significantly to the education of pathology residents and fellows.
